AB Dance Company’s current repertoire can be booked for private events for groups and companies. Additional programs can be arranged. Most of AB Dance Company’s program is also available for booking outside Manilla theatre. The additional program including solos, duets, and other minor performances is available for different venues and events.

 

Group tickets for performance in Manilla theatre

• 20/26 € per person for a group of 10 or more people (free entry for 1 organizer)
• 17/23 € per person for a group of 20 or more people (free entry for 1 organizer)
• 10 € per person for a group of 10 or more students (free entry for 1 organizer)
• 75 € per person for a group of 5 or more people What a Menu! (Or the Lost Reputation of Mustard City), including a three-course dinner.
• 70 € per person for a group of 10 or more people What a Menu! (Or the Lost Reputation of Mustard City), including a three-course dinner.

Group bookings and pre-sales can only be arranged through Aurinkobaletti, not Lippupiste.

Group bookings must be confirmed bindingly at least two weeks before the performance. For What a Menu show and dinner, group reservations must be confirmed bindingly two months before the performance.

What a Menu! (Or the Lost Reputation of Mustard City)

 

For Little Christmas celebrations we recommend Liisa Ruuskanen’s and Johanna Keinänen’s food theatre performance What a Menu! (Or the Lost Reputation of Mustard City), which reveals the secret files of Turku’s food history. This moiniaistic experience includes a performance and dinner mixed together. Arttu Parviainen (Nahkurin Kellari and Vanha Talli) is in charge of the menu. He won gold this year in the IKA Culinary Olympics as part of the Finnish team of chefs, will be in charge of the menu.

A Moment of Dance – small performance or dance workshop

 

A Moment of Dance package is a workshop or a small performance by AB Dance Company that can be tailored for the needs of various groups. Whether for an after-work event, a conference day, an employee recreation program or just for a group of people who share an interest for experiencing culture together, we offer an opportunity to experience dance from the front seat with a flexible schedule.  

A Moment of Dance was created by the AB Dance Company dancers through their desire to perform contemporary dance that speaks to and thrills the audience, pulling their thoughts entirely into movement for a moment of dance. No more than that but all the more rewarding!

The small performance combines the strengths of the AB Dance Company ensemble – presence and professionalism – connecting with both the children and the adults in the audience. We offer a holistic experience for both veterans and new acquaintances of contemporary dance, one that welcomes the audience to jump in with an open mind. A Moment of Dance is here and now – with love from our dancers to You.

Options

1. Performance starring 2–4 professional dancers from AB Dance Company.
Duration: approx. 15–20 minutes
Price: 500 €,  no minimum number of participants

2. Workshop for adults designed to suit your group’s needs, requiring no prior dance experience.
Duration: up to 1 hour
Price: 350 €, max 20 participants / 500 € 21–40 participants

Prices and additional information

All prices apply within the Turku area. If the event is held at Manilla Theater outside of regular performance days, the following additional costs apply:

• Venue rental: 300 € per day
• Supervisor fee: 25–50 per hour, depending on the time of day

Groups also have the opportunity to enjoy food and drink services in connection with a performance or workshop. Our menus are curated by Arttu Parviainen (Nahkurin Kellari and Vanha Talli) gold medalist at the 2024 IKA Culinary Olympics as part of Finland’s national chef team.

Dining venue costs are determined on a case-by-case basis. If dining takes place in our theater foyer, drinks can be purchased from our theater café-bar. Menus can also be customized in collaboration with the head chef.
