AB Dance Company (Aurinkobaletti) is offering lower secondary schoolchildren an exciting and fascinating experience in the world of fairytales and dance, and Risto Räppääjä ja Nuudelipää is an excellent piece for them. The dance fairytale is suitable for pre-school and primary school children. The performances are organised in AB Dance Companys Manilla theatre.

AB Dance Company’s dance piece Risto Räppääjä ja Nuudelipää (Ricky Rapper and Noodlehead) will be a part of the City of Turku’s Culture Path programme (Elämyspolku) 4.−13.3.2025. We are offering 3rd and 5th graders in Turku the opportunity to see the performance and participate in a related discussion session with the dancers €12 per pupil. The price for other schoolchildren in Turku’s neighbouring areas is €13 per pupil.  Showtime will start at 10.00 or 12.00, and the performance will be around 50 minutes long. Teachers may come to our performances with their pupils free-of-charge.

Risto Räppääjä and Nuudelipää

A sweet love letter written by Risto Räppääjä’s aunt Rauha winds up in the wrong hands. After that, a series of misunderstandings and blunders begin, and the new neighbouring girl Nelli and her cat Alpo will also get entangled in the mess! Everything that happens before it all gets cleared up will be seen in the show.

This AB Dance Company production is for the whole family! It shows how the friendship between Risto Räppääjä and Nelli Nuudelipää all started. The central theme of the story is friendship and how significant it is to feel accepted and important.

This performance, choreographed by Marjaterttu Willman, directed by Tiina and Sinikka Nopola, and based on the play Risto Räppääjä ja Nuudelipää is full of dance, mime and music!
